Ranthambore Ticket Booking is an independent travel and safari booking assistance service for travellers visiting Ranthambore, Sawai Madhopur.
Safari permits and bookings are subject to availability and the applicable rules of the relevant booking system and authority. This policy explains the cancellation and refund process applicable to safari bookings handled through our service.
1. Safari Cancellation & Refund
Safari permit cancellation and refund will be handled in accordance with the applicable Rajasthan Forest Department and relevant booking-system rules.
The currently applicable cancellation schedule is:
- Cancellation 30 days or more before the visit date: 75% refund of the eligible amount.
- Cancellation between 72 hours and 30 days before the visit date: 50% refund of the eligible amount.
- Cancellation within 72 hours of the visit date: No refund.
The refundable amount is subject to the applicable booking conditions. Certain permit, government, vehicle, guide, processing or other applicable charges may be non-refundable.
2. Booking Confirmation
Submitting an enquiry through our website, WhatsApp, email or telephone does not by itself constitute a confirmed safari booking.
A safari booking is considered confirmed only after the required availability, booking information and applicable payment or confirmation requirements have been completed.
3. Cancellation Request
Customers who wish to cancel a confirmed safari booking should contact us as soon as possible and provide their booking details.
The date and time when the cancellation request is received may be considered when determining the applicable cancellation category.
Refunds will be processed according to the applicable cancellation and booking rules.
4. Weather & Natural Conditions
Safari operations may be affected by weather, forest conditions, safety restrictions, government directions or other circumstances beyond our control.
If a safari is cancelled or affected because of such circumstances, any refund will be handled according to the applicable rules of the relevant authority or booking system.
5. Wildlife Sightings
Ranthambore Ticket Booking does not guarantee tiger sightings or sightings of any particular animal.
Wildlife movement is natural and unpredictable. A safari booking provides access to the safari experience subject to the applicable rules and availability, but does not guarantee a particular wildlife sighting.
6. Refund Processing
Where a refund is applicable, the eligible amount will be processed through the applicable payment method or booking process.
The time required for the refund to reach the customer's account may vary depending on the payment provider, bank and relevant booking authority.
7. Third-Party Services
Where a booking involves a hotel, transport provider, guide, safari operator or other third-party service provider, the cancellation and refund conditions applicable to that service may also apply.
Relevant terms will be communicated to the customer wherever applicable.
8. Customer Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information required for their booking, including:
- Full name
- Contact number
- Safari date
- Number of visitors
- Required identification details
- Other information necessary for the booking
Incorrect or incomplete information may affect the booking or any applicable cancellation/refund process.
9. Availability & Permit Allocation
Safari availability, permit issuance, zone allocation, vehicle allocation, guide allocation and other operational matters are subject to the applicable booking system and relevant authorities.
Availability is not guaranteed until the booking has been confirmed.
10. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation
For a cancellation or refund request, please provide:
- Customer name
- Booking/enquiry reference, if available
- Safari date
- Contact number
- Reason for cancellation
- Payment or booking details, where required
Our team will review the request and communicate the applicable refund process.
11. Policy Updates
This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our services, booking procedures or applicable rules.
The cancellation and refund conditions applicable to a booking will remain subject to the rules of the relevant booking and permit system.
